Joanna Bridle began Hicks & Holmested in 2016.  As director she is a good problem solver when it comes to space, light and surrounds and has had much success with the tricky inner city councils.
Joanna studied at the University of Sydney and is a registered architect in NSW (#9555)
Her early career began at Connor + Solomon Architects where she learnt how to tackle the inner west, creating innovative design solutions in small yet densely packed spaces. She also worked at Luigi Rosselli Architects where she gained sound high-end design knowledge.
Hicks & Holmested is passionate about high quality, innovative and cost effective design, which considers sustainability and longevity of the utmost importance.
Focusing on strong collaboration with clients to determine briefs, outcomes and budget goals.
Since establishing in 2016 Hicks & Holmested has worked on many small to medium size residential projects.
